He founded logistics company Declarators pte Ltd in 2014 after leaving his office job from a MNC logistics organization.
Since then, he has transformed Declarators Pte Ltd from a startup with one employee (himself) to one of the top established declaring agents in Singapore with a headcount of over 80 employees.
He founded Insect Food Pte Ltd in 2023 out of passion and love for edible insects.
His mission with Insect food is to focus on breaking barriers, changing human perceptions and fears towards edible insect food.
Renee Lim has been working alongside with our founder for 10 years.
She has weathered the storm through hard times and establish herself as a top leader. She has proven experience in marketing and brand development.
Her responsibilities will be ensuring that Insect Food becomes a household brand in Singapore by identifying key business opportunities, partnerships and events.
Renee is also passionate for edible insects and her favourite is fried crickets!
Connie’s role is to ensure high levels of customer service and operation excellence of Insect Food. She will also oversea the training and development of our employees and develop processes to improve operational efficiency.
Her key responsibilities include managing the logistics, inventory and supply chain activates to guarantee timely delivery of products.
Connie is an Entomophagist (someone who eat insects as food) and a bug lover as well!
As a Finance and HR Manager, Wendy play dual roles in our organization. Wendy keeps the company’s financial objects and budget in check and ensures that we hire the right people for our team.
She is responsible for developing both the organization’s Financial and HR policies.
Wendy is an insect lover and has venture to several countries to indulge on edible insect delicacies.
