π Another Milestone for Insectyumz β Introducing Our Sixth Edible Insect Species
We are proud to announce the official introduction of our sixth edible insect species β Adult Honey Bees (Apis mellifera) β to Singapore! π
More importantly, we are proud to be the first in Singapore to legally import edible adult honey bees for human consumption, complete with the required health certification.
This achievement represents another significant milestone in our journey to expand Singaporeβs edible insect food ecosystem.
Since the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) announced the approval of edible insects on 8 July 2024, we made a commitment to introduce a diverse range of edible insect species from around the world and make them available to consumers in Singapore.
Today, we have successfully introduced species across four major insect orders:

What started as a commitment to bring greater variety to Singapore’s edible insect market has now grown into a catalogue spanning six approved edible insect species and four major insect orders.
We are continuing to explore, source and introduce new edible insect species from around the world β legally, responsibly and with the necessary regulatory approvals.
For us, this is more than simply adding another product.
It is about expanding the possibilities of edible insects in Singapore.
And we are not stopping at six. ππ¦πͺ²π¦
