It felt especially meaningful to set up a booth so close to our office — bringing our work straight into the heart of the community. On 17 January 2026, we were honoured to be part of the Central Singapore Market at Bidadari Community Club, Woodleigh Mall, made possible through the generous invitation from the Central Singapore Community Development Council (CDC).
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Central Singapore District, Ms Denise Phua. Her presence and encouragement reinforced the importance of continued dialogue around sustainability and the evolving future of food.
Events like this allow us to be truly on the ground — engaging directly with residents, listening to their perspectives, and sharing how food innovation can play a role in building a more sustainable and resilient food system. It was inspiring to see curiosity, openness, and thoughtful conversations around alternative nutrition, including insect-based foods, as a practical and forward-looking option.
These face-to-face interactions are invaluable. They help raise awareness, challenge perceptions, and most importantly, bring sustainable food choices closer to everyday life. Each conversation strengthens our commitment to making sustainability not just an idea, but something accessible and relevant to everyone.
We’re grateful for the support and look forward to partnering with more communities across Singapore as we continue this journey together.
The future of food begins with conversations — and we’re excited to keep them going. 🌱🐜
